2. Fifth International Sanskrit Conference

  • Theme: “Correlation of Sanskrit with Other Subjects”

  • Overview: Coinciding with World Sanskrit Day, this conference will explore interdisciplinary connections between Sanskrit and various academic fields. 

3. International Vedic Astrology Conference

  • Dates: October 11–12 and 18–19, 2025

  • Format: Virtual (Zoom)

  • Overview: A comprehensive four-day online masterclass featuring 16 sessions led by renowned Vedic astrologers, offering deep insights into Jyotish.

6 .IIT Bhilai's MoUs to Boost Heritage Research & Sustainable Tourism

  • Overview: IIT Bhilai has signed two Memorandums of Understanding with the Chhattisgarh government to enhance heritage research and promote sustainable tourism. The collaborations focus on documenting historical sites, creating knowledge repositories, and developing research aligned with Sustainable Development Goals. 


7. Indian Navy Inducts Stitched Ship INSV Kaundinya

  • Overview: The Indian Navy officially inducted INSV Kaundinya, a traditionally crafted stitched-plank sailing vessel inspired by 5th-century Ajanta Cave paintings. This initiative symbolizes India's rich maritime heritage and historical prowess in oceanic navigation.

2 . Symposium on "Transforming Sanskrit Libraries in the Context of NEP 2020 for Viksit Bharat@2047"

  • Dates: March 26–28, 2025

  • Location: Samvet Auditorium, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi

  • Overview: Organized by IGNCA's Kala Nidhi Division in collaboration with Central Sanskrit University, this symposium aims to discuss the modernization and transformation of Sanskrit libraries in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020, focusing on India's development goals for 2047.

7. Two-Day International Seminar & Workshop on Indian Drama: Society-Culture, Tradition and Heritage

  • Dates: March 29–30, 2025

  • Location: Ateswartala Sanskritik Manch, Radhakantapur, Raidighi, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal

  • Overview: In collaboration with the Department of Bengali, Vidyasagar University, and Jana Sanskriti, this seminar will focus on the rich heritage of Indian drama, its societal impact, and cultural traditions. 


8. North East Indian Linguistics Society (NEILS) Conference

  • Dates: February 6–8, 2025

  • Location: Nagaland University, Kohima, India

  • Overview: The 13th edition of NEILS will bring together linguists and researchers to discuss the linguistic diversity and heritage of Northeast India.
